This scale-type grate features five furnace bars arranged in alternating, fish-scale patterns—overlapping front to back—which, combined with a ventilation cross-sectional ratio of just 8%, effectively minimizes coal leakage while ensuring uniform air distribution, leading to more stable combustion across the coal bed. Additionally, the grate is equipped with multiple independent air chambers running longitudinally; once primary air enters, it spreads evenly throughout the chambers. Moreover, the airflow into each chamber can be flexibly adjusted via a dedicated air-regulating device, allowing the system to precisely meet the varying air requirements of different combustion stages. Operates stably and has excellent sealing performance
The parallel chains of the grate are connected via double-head bolts, with bushings fitted over the bolts to ensure consistent chain spacing. The rollers outside the bushings roll along the upper guide rails, effectively transferring weight. The sides of the grate are equipped with a contact-type side-sealing structure, effectively preventing coal pieces from leaking into the sides of the grate while also eliminating air leakage from the sides. This not only ensures a stable operating environment for the grate but also minimizes air loss, helping to maintain consistent combustion temperatures inside the furnace. Additionally, the ash-discharge device at the bottom of the wind chamber allows for scheduled cleaning of accumulated ash, preventing ash buildup from interfering with grate operation and further enhancing overall operational stability.
