From casting to assembly: Huiying Machinery's All-Chain Quality Control Approach for Reciprocating Grates

The creation of a high-quality reciprocating grate hinges on meticulous, end-to-end control across the entire industrial chain. Leveraging a comprehensive setup with five major production workshops—mechanical processing, riveting and welding, casting, and assembly—Dalian Huiying Machinery has established a seamless, full-process manufacturing system, from raw material melting to finished product delivery. This rigorous approach ensures that every reciprocating grate is crafted to deliver exceptional quality and performance.
In the casting process, Huiying Machinery has introduced two Danish Disha casting production lines, complemented by four sets of high-tonnage electric furnaces equipped with advanced melting and heating systems, as well as state-of-the-art on-site temperature measurement and analytical testing equipment. These measures ensure the consistent material quality of core components such as furnace grate plates. Specifically tailored for the demanding high-temperature operation of reciprocating grates, the company has selected specialized heat-resistant materials and meticulously controls both the melting temperature and casting processes, significantly enhancing the components' heat resistance and wear resistance. This approach addresses at the source the longstanding issue of frequent damage to furnace grate plates in the high-temperature zones of conventional reciprocating grates.

The processing and assembly stages are equally refined and meticulous. Over 600 advanced production machines ensure the precise machining of core components, guaranteeing perfect alignment between the moving and fixed grate bars while minimizing wear and coal leakage during operation. In the assembly workshop, standardized operational procedures are strictly followed—every reciprocating grate undergoes multiple debugging steps to ensure smooth movement and uniform ventilation. The final product inspection process is especially rigorous, with thorough checks including air-tightness tests and load-operation evaluations, leaving no room for substandard products to leave the factory. This comprehensive, end-to-end quality-control approach enables Huiying Reciprocating Grate to achieve an annual production capacity of more than 10,000 sets, along with 200,000 tons of supporting components—balancing both superior quality and reliable supply.
