Wuxi ships one 20-ton chain-grate boiler.

The grate surface of the chain-type grate is actually the chain belt itself, which is driven by sprockets to move the grate bars slowly forward. Typically made from cast iron, the grate bars are assembled with essential ventilation gaps maintained between each bar. Additionally, adjustable air-control chambers are often installed beneath the grate, allowing precise regulation of airflow through these gaps into the fuel layer for combustion. Coal is evenly fed onto the grate from a coal hopper located at the front end, and the thickness of the coal layer can be adjusted by raising or lowering a coal gate. As the grate moves backward, the coal gradually ignites, burns, and eventually burns completely. The resulting ash and slag are then removed manually or mechanically. In some systems, instead of using a hopper to feed coal, a coal-spreading machine is employed to fling coal onto the rear portion of the moving grate, which propels the grate forward. The speed of the grate is regulated by a gear-driven variable-speed mechanism, tailored specifically to the type of coal and the boiler's operational load.

The production base is located in Wafangdian City, a key industrial hub in China, covering an area of over 300,000 square meters. Two 4-ton chain-grate boilers from Dalian Huiying Mechanical Grate Factory have been dispatched (including two gear reducers). The company currently employs more than 800 workers, with 100 dedicated to research and development. It boasts over 600 pieces of primary production and testing equipment, supported by five major production workshops specializing in mechanical processing, riveting and welding, casting, and assembly. These workshops are fully equipped with advanced machining facilities and comprehensive testing capabilities. Moreover, the company has introduced two Danish DISA casting production lines, complemented by four sets of high-tonnage electric furnace systems for melting and heating, along with state-of-the-art on-site temperature measurement and chemical analysis equipment. Each year, the company can supply over 10,000 sets of energy-efficient and environmentally friendly grates to both domestic and international markets, while also producing 200,000 tons of various heat-resistant and standard grate components.
